Faculty
The Ballet Department at the University of Utah has had a history of excellent faculty and instructors
with exceptional training, experience and qualifications. The current faculty includes Shayla Bott, Attila Ficzere,
Barbara Hamblin, Carol N. Iwasaki, Maureen Laird, Sharee Lane, Conrad Ludlow, Richard Wacko, Jane Wood Smith,
Cole Adams, Steve Rasmussen, Rob Wood, Brooke Storheim, Michelle Butterfield, Cati Dallas, and Tamara Squires.
Staff
The staff of the Ballet Department includes gifted pianists, Grigoriy Ayrapetov, Vilena Barekyan, Svetlana Vasilenko,
Dylan Bean, and Jeff Detton; untiring and talented costume shop assistants, Elizabeth Banzuzi and Scott Michelson;
expert Audio-Visual Technician, Erin Empey; Carmela Neilsen, P.T. and Michael Halmstrom, M.D., our dedicated professional
healers; talented Publications Specialist, Terry Parkin; and our most
competent Administrative Assistant, Pamela Rasmussen
who are all ready and willing to serve the students
and faculty.
