Graduate Programs The Department of Ballet offers four (4) M.F.A. degree programs: Teaching/Choreography M.F.A. (Two-year program) Performance M.F.A. (Two-year program) Character Dance M.F.A. (Two-year program) Scholarly Research M.F.A. (Two-year program) To request an application packet for graduate studies in Ballet at the University of Utah, please address an e-mail to Director of Graduate Studies, Richard Wacko or download one from here. International applicants must submit a TOEFL score to be considered for admission to the graduate program. The Ballet Department follows University of Utah TOEFL admission requirements. Applicants must achieve a TOEFL test score of 500 or above to be admitted. The institutional TOEFL test offered on campus is a paper test and costs $45.
